Not about the new curriculum – Blog 8

Just sometimes you need reminding why this is such a wonderful profession to be part of. In how many other jobs could you sing a song about the water cycle to the tune of Frere Jacques in a round?  And I’ve done it twice in the last week. Many thanks to Charlotte Clarke for the words; to the wonderful children and staff of Llanfoist Fawr Primary School who let me and the hubby come and … ummm….. help in their assembly; and to the extremely tuneful teachers of Merseyside who turned up to their excellent science conference and sang it quite beautifully. I could have been left at the front singing to myself but I wasn’t and I’m very grateful.

More singing, more joy and more learning. Can’t beat it.
